Individual Counselling for Individuals 18+
About Dana…
Dana is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with more than 10 years of experience working in private practice, hospital, and community settings. She supports individuals and couples who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, attachment, and relationship difficulties.
Dana’s approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centred. She believes that feeling safe, heard, and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process, and she strives to create a space where you can be yourself without judgment.
Dana’s work brings together psychoanalytic and cognitive approaches, drawing from Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) strategies. This allows you and Dana to explore deeper patterns and experiences while also developing practical tools to help you navigate everyday challenges and create meaningful change.
Dana also provides culturally sensitive care and welcome conversations around immigration, identity, and life transitions. Having built her own life and professional career in a new country, she understands that starting over and finding a sense of belonging can bring both challenges and opportunities for growth.
Dana offers counselling in English and Spanish and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
Dana offers virtual services only.
